The woods dance with me. The ground shakes and moves to the rhythm and everything is alive. I open my eyes and look around me, the leaves are frenzied and the wind rushes as if to keep up with me. But it can’t I am all stomping feet and and wild arms the beat has all but taken control of me. There was a boy who lit up my world. He was born 5 pounds 8 ounces and loved to smile. When he was five he was taken from me. I woke him up that morning at 6:30, while he ate his breakfast I brushed my teeth. At 6:40 we both got dressed, he in khaki uniform pants and a red polo, and I in gray sweatpants and a blue hoodie. I can’t remember what month it was but I know it was cold out so at 6:45 I decided to go warm the car up. I came back inside at 6:47 and helped him button up his jacket and put on his gloves, I stepped back to see how he looked and busted out in laughter because he looked like an obese elf. It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards. In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out

Getting Back in The Groove

So I started my junior year of high school 9 weeks ago and that pretty much means my life is now homework. I've been M.I.A from DeviantArt for months now but oh how it is good to be back! So I've decided to start taking my DA account seriously. I usually only used it to keep up with fanart and look at things I found cool and/or amusing but as I'm nearing the end of my sophomore year in high school I've started to really think about want I want to do with my life. I've decided that I want to become a photojournalist and possibly do some creative writing on the side.
